Job Description External Recruiter is responsible for actively marketing Pacific Life products through the Regional Life Office in order to achieve sales goals (both for the region and individually).  Works with the Managing RVP to grow the region horizontally and vertically and builds and maintains strong relationships with producers in the region. Extensive travel is required.  Territory covers:  NJ, CT, MA,RI, VT, NH, ME   Meets annual sales and producing producer goals as established with Managing RVP Communicates regularly and proactively with Managing RVP Shares with Managing RVP new sales relationships and opportunities Continually works to strengthen and deepen producer relationships Meets New producer expectations as established with Managing RVP Meet or exceed weekly appointment metrics with A & B producers as established with Managing RVP Meets referral goals as established with Managing RVP Establish and maintain strong working relationships with field and Home Office staff. Works with underwriting to negotiate best, most competitive offer on cases when intervention is required.  Escalates to Managing RVP if necessary. Develop strong working relationship with Internal Wholesaler.  Maintain regular communication with IW to ensure duties are performed effectively. Enter required information into company database (meeting notes, complete meetings, producer information) in a timely manner. Actively participate in region's weekly recruiter calls to discuss cases, share sales ideas, discuss trends, etc. Manage travel expenses by submitting Travel & Expense reports in a timely manner not to exceed 60 days Minimum of 5-7 years life insurance experience with 3+ years outside sales experience Highly organized and goal-oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem solving skills Effective public speaker with ability to provide education beyond product knowledge Must possess proven sales results history in an independent sales channel Must be able to attract and recruit new producers to the territory Must be willing to meet with minimum 12-14 advisors on a weekly basis Must be willing to travel weekly to cover entire territory Requires Series 6/26, 63 (as required by state(s) in the territory), and life insurance licenses in all states within territory Professional designations (CLU, ChFC, CFP) desirable About Pacific Life Celebrating 150 years of service in 2018, Pacific Life offers life insurance, annuities, and mutual funds, along with a variety of investment products and services, all of which provide The Power to Help You Succeed. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
